MadWolf Technologies Names Director of Sales and Marketing

Washington, DC – MadWolf Technologies, a Managed Services Company, announced today that it appointed Pavel Karelin as Director of Sales and Marketing. Pavel brings to MadWolf over 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the high tech industry and will be based at MadWolf’s headquarters in downtown Washington, D.C.

Pavel will oversee MadWolf’s sales organization, business and strategic development, and marketing functions. In this role, he will lead MadWolf’s efforts to grow its revenue, customer base, and sales organization and will be directly responsible for defining and executing MadWolf’s marketing strategy. Pavel will report to MadWolf’s President and founder Doug Wolfire.

Pavel joins MadWolf from Pillar Data Systems, a leader in application-aware storage, founded and funded by Oracle’s CEO and founder Larry Ellison. Prior to Pillar Data, Pavel held a number of leadership roles in sales, alliance, and sales management with Hewlett-Packard Company, VERITAS Software, and DS3 Data Vaulting.

Pavel started his career in the US at The World Bank. Pavel holds an MSc degree in Material Science from Moscow Institute of Aircraft Technology (Moscow, Russia) and an MBA from University of Maryland (College Park, MD).
